Established in 2011, Modality Youth Choir is a friendly, diverse group, which has establised a reputation for imaginative performances and well blended harmonies.​

Open to boys and girls, aged 11-18 years.

All voices including boys with changing voices

Christmas and summer performances with Modality Adult Choir.

​​What do we do at each session?​

Warm ups and Vocal Technique (how to sing better)

Learn songs using music and by ear

Performance skills (presentation and confidence, including some movement)

Musicianship (ear training and singing in harmony)

Sing wide variety of music and singing styles (pop, music theatre, world music)
Safeguarding and wellbeing​
The wellbeing and safety of all singers is given the highest priority. We have a safeguarding policy and all adults involved with the youth choir are required to have DBS registration.
Commitment
Most of our singers love being part of Modality Youth choir and want to attend every week. However, we appreciate that people have busy lives and won’t always be able to make every rehearsal. Putting on performances and building a great choir requires a level of commitment and some practice at home. I would appreciate your support in encouraging your child to attend as many rehearsals as possible throughout the term and commit to taking part in the performances.
